Familiar but new, likethe Kueh Tutu Eraser

Been meaning to recount the things that have been going on in the week, but kept putting it off, let's see what we have got here...

Saturday- Flashmobbing is the best! met so many new people, and had a great time. not 100% sure if i want to do a Take 2, but it may go just to see everyone again :D

our 'performance' at the esplanade concourse was hilarious, and awesome to those who saw it, but sad to say, all our photos/videos had to be deleted by the esplanade security... sigh. BUT! whoever is up there ^ is fair and kind! for then we all performed a second round, for a guy..... who was proposing to his fiance. Very nice, completely spoiled the market for all us guys out there, but very sweet nonetheless.

Sunday - finally i'm back to canoe polo! a little terrible that i wasn't careful, and made this girl panic during our eskimo bow rescue >.< but other than that, it was satisfying to be back in the water :)

Monday - and now back to gym! yes yes, haven't been going for quite a while, need to get back into the flow of exercising again!

Tuesday - Picnic girl: Episode 2! hahaha. it was sorta like a picnic! and though it was a short 2 hours, and you have exams the next day, it was fun just sitting around, talking and having fun like we always do. Happy Birthday :)

Wednesday - and so begins my long period out of camp. but yesterday was only a half day, today full, friday Hari Raya, and the next 2 weeks MAATT, followed by a week long holiday!

took a half day yesterday to have lunch with Xiao Bao, Zenia! i've met the 4 baos before for lunch and stuff, but this would be the first time i met just zenia alone, but i only realised this after we met, heh. So lunch at Bugis (all sorts of eateries there!) and then we spent hours at the National Library walking around and exploring, and just talking bout almost everything. It was great getting to know zenia, like a chance to really get to know her personally :)

For some strange reason, we both had no plans whatsoever for the rest of the day, and so we spent THE REST OF THE DAY together, walking around checking out the sights and sounds around town. it was like being on holiday in our own country! another interesting place to note is the old supreme court building, right now there is a Singapore Design Exhibition till the 30th of Nov, and it is awesomely fascinating!

Very Fresh experience with zenia yesterday, lets do this again soon aye!

Now- Today will be a wonderful (extended) family day with faimly at The Mind Cafe, it has always been fun, and i'm sure today will not be any different!

This year has been good to me, so much to be thankful for!

I Blog like a girl

I blog like a girl. realised this in camp when browsing my blog.

the way i blog is much like a fire-and-forget missile. put up my post, and never read it again. haha. not true, i may read it months and months later, but most of the time, it just sits in my archive, not to be stirred.

Is there a 'guy' way to blog?

"like a pornographic M18 teen dream, of bitches smothered in margarine. Ha! ha! ha! pkoow! pkoow" - Brett, a.k.a. Rhymenocerous, FOTC

Driving today was Baaad. terrible safety, never check blind spot and all that shat. how am i gonna pass my TP?!?!?!

I'm tired, should prolly go to bed at 10 sharp, which i should be doing, but haven't for the week. okay. Route March tomorrow. Tired!

Janda Baik Baik Baik

Tuesday is here! which means i came back from my weekend holiday to malaysia just yesterday!

3 days of quality time with the family in the hills of Janda Baik! if you do get a chance do check out the place, it is beautiful, with lovely crisp air, and great clear rivers. it was nice spending the weekend there, just resting, playing Mahjong and Cluedo with the family, talking, and sleeping and taking a break from the hustle-bustle of life.

I guess me and Mat must be growing up, because i think we have become a lot more civilised with each other. Maybe because we have things in common now, and we have more things to talk about. Taking it slow works well for my family, and the time spent by the river, or walking around the gardens was soothing for my family.

long car rides give me lots of time to think about things, and clear my head on some stuff :)

The FOOD! Grrreat! damn! i ate a lot... too much at every meal >.< now have gained weight D: sadness... must find away to lose it all, especially with Macau coming up and with Christmas round the corner! oh no! But Malaysian food is so much better (less hygiene = better taste) and a lot cheaper than in S'pore, haha, or maybe because mom knew all the hotspots to check out. still, good food! yumm.... xP

Well now back to the routine of Army, not that routine, afterall, i did go for Hip Hop Dance Lesson with Yeong Chyun after camp today, was fun! let's do this again soon :)

am i glad i can take breaks like this, its restorative for the soul! Love my family, and can't wait to go Macau in Dec!

You know that i could Use Somebody

2 tracks in my head as i go around today!

1) Use Somebody - We are Kings

Someone like you and all you know and how you speak
Countless lovers under cover of the street
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody
Someone like you

Croon! oh croon, good to walk to, and just play in my head :)

2) You're So Beautiful - Flight of the Conchords

You're so beuatiful;
Like a Tree
or ceramics or something
You're so beautiful;
like a high class prostitute
You're so beautiful!
You could be a part.... time... model....
spend part of your time modeling,
and part of your Timmmmmme.
Next to MEEEEEEEEEEE
...
...
and the rest of your time at your normal job

My title was almost "you're so beautiful; Like a Tree" because its a nice line!

Today was GOOOT! so good that i replaced the D with a T. 3 planned meetings and 2 happy coincidences!

Half days at camp are great when you make use of it!

Planned Person #1: like Traveling to Tampines to meet Piggy!

Planned Person#2: but stopping by Kembangan to see Chiaps for a bit!

Happy Coincidence #1: At Kembangan met Vanessa, the Guitar Senior, and chatted our way to Tanah Merah.

After talking with Piggy and friend for a while, went for lunch, before going in the direction of Novena

Planned Person #3: SamBran has found a study place at TTS Hosp, and chatted over forgetfully unpaid Brownie and Ice Cream! haha!

Happy Coincidence #2: On the way home, bumped into Sendy as we got out of the train! and always a great pleasure to speak to!

Things just fell into place today :) everything went right, and tonight i'm gonna get some sleep, and travel out to Malaysia Tomorrow! woo~ Malaysia Holiday weekend :D Family time FTW.

Gonna go pack! see you on tuesday!

A Family that Games together

Too bad Dad couldn't join us today, as we concluded another awesome trip to The Mind Cafe! this time we went to the prinsep St. one, near Dhoby Ghaut. and instead of Dad, we were joined by Heng Hwee, who is a silent killer when it comes to games, haha.

The long games are fun, the more you invest into a game, the more rewards you get out of it. Though it was fun to have those short games where you can just go crazy! Slap-a-gory is still on my mind! haha!

Can't wait for the next time i get to do this :D i usually spend my off days on it, so maybe Jan we can go again? its good to spend quality time such as this with the family, especially when i'm out almost every day of the week. Family is important and must find ways to connect.

Good week ahead! and to end it all off, going on a Malaysia trip this weekend!

Anyone wants to come to my house to bake cookies for Christmas? Mom has started her Fruit Cake Spree, maybe i should sneek in some baking time too!

Picnic Monday was fabulous, and oh-so-right! - I Love have such a spontaneous Best Friend :] totally awesome randomness and Beard Papa and weird looks as i carry a real picnic basket on the bus. haha. PICNIC FTW!

House Visit Tuesday, was very little house visit, a lot on getting to know Melee, and all round awesome. Stories have been spilled, but in all confidence, and hopefully evenn after Melee ORD's we'll keep in close contact. Friends such as these are definitely worth having :)
